Preparing a quote request

The quote form asks for your name, company, and email address, your pickup and delivery locations, and a description of the freight it concerns. Phone, province or state, postal or ZIP code, pallet or package count, dimensions, weight, stackability, equipment requests, dates, location requirements, and additional notes are optional. These details describe the shipment you want to discuss.

Nothing leaves your browser while you fill the form in. Your entries are shown back to you on a review screen first, and are transmitted only when you choose to send the request. Entries are not saved in browser storage, so refreshing or leaving the page may clear them.

Where your request goes

This website is hosted on Netlify, and quote requests are delivered by Netlify Forms. When you send a request, the details you entered are transmitted to Netlify, Inc., which stores the submission and makes it available to Utopia Logistics dispatch. Netlify also records technical information such as your IP address and the time of submission, and applies automated spam filtering. That filtering includes a hidden field the form asks you to leave empty; genuine submissions are unaffected by it.

Netlify is based in the United States, so your request is processed and stored outside Canada. Netlify acts as our service provider for handling these submissions. Their handling of the data is described in the Netlify privacy policy.

Utopia Logistics uses these details to respond to your enquiry and discuss the shipment. Contact dispatch if you want to correct a request, ask for it to be deleted, or confirm that it arrived.

Downloads, email, and phone

The review screen offers a copy of your request as a text file saved by your browser. That download happens on your device, and you control where you keep or share it.

If you email or call dispatch instead of using the form, the information is handled through the email and telephone services used by you and Utopia Logistics rather than through this website.

Links and website resources

The site’s fonts, photographs, and map illustration are served as part of the website. No advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or embedded third-party maps have been added to this build.

Choosing “Get directions” opens Google Maps. That service handles information according to its own privacy practices. Phone and email links open the relevant app on your device. Website hosting and network providers may process technical request information needed to serve the site.
